Part of our learning this week has been inquiring into how visual art can be used as a form of expression. We looked at Rodin’s famous sculpture ‘The Thinker’ and then used aluminum foil to sculpt our own sculpture of a person. Then we looked at our sculpture and added a speech bubble to support our artwork.
Creating a 3D object proved a challenge as well as finding ways to work with the aluminum foil as a material.
Another artwork we created this week was a digital artwork using the drawing tools in Seesaw. The purpose of this artwork was to express something important to us.
