Hello everyone,

Quite a few students have been having internet problems this week – well done to everyone who has been trying to troubleshoot and still complete their learning. We understand it can be frustrating but are very impressed with your capabilities and perseverance.

In Mathematics this week we have been exploring pie charts and line graphs. We have been drawing our own and using apps to help draw them digitally. We have been using line graphs to be able to make predictions and spot trends about endangered species in the future.

In Language we have been inquiring into sign language using the British, American and Arabic sign language symbols. We used this to present our haiku poetry.

In Unit we used canva.com to present video and music on the theme of biodiversity, using all the presentation skills we have been learning. We also looked at webcams on safari in Africa, in America, in Europe and even under the ocean. We have started the creative challenges that will finish off our Ecosystems website.

Next week our Omani students will be completing exams on these dates:

Materials drop off / pick up dates: Wednesday June 9 (afternoon) and Thursday June 10 (morning). All students are encouraged to return all school materials, school instruments and library books.
