Understanding energy relationships is critical in chemistry, both as a discipline and as an industry.
With this in mind students have been measuring the energy released in reactions using calorimeters. They are searching for a pattern in the kinds of chemicals reacted. We will use the data to practice writing a report in the style of the independent assessment that they will do next year. Here they are at work.
