Students in grade 3 celebrated Oman week with lots of fun activities that embraced Omani culture. Ms Khadija explained the customs connected to serving coffee and dates. We learnt to serve the coffee to guests with the right hand and to eat an odd number of dates.

Ms Sahar read a traditional story to the class in Arabic. The students were engaged due to her wonderful expression and enthusiasm for the story.

Students came dressed in their traditional clothes at the end of the week. Ms Khadija explained which area of Oman the costumes were from.

We enjoyed playing an Omani board game in small groups. The students helped each other and shared strategies on how to play.

The grade 3 students took time and effort to put together an amazing fashion show, the costumes were stunning. Well done grade 3!
