What a busy week of work we just finished! L
Thinking about how one’s location affects one’s perspective led us to a art project and a service project.

The grounds of ABIS are world class. I love being able to spend time surrounded by the beauty and the peace it brings. The students spent time this week learning how to identify plants. Then, in their assigned section, they identified each species of plant in it and made a map of them. Their products are on display in the LC3 atrium.
We hope that this will help to support a project of installing signs that will allow are diverse plant collection to be curated and interpreted for visitors as well as for current and future members of the ABIS community.
Being together for so long allowed us all to spend time together enjoying one another’s company. Here are some things we did during the week.

I have to confess that I went home tired every day and even went to bed early a night or two.
Oman Week without a big trip out in Oman was missed but I enjoyed spending another week with the grade 8 students and really appreciate the effort they put in to the work – there was hardly any complaining!
Have a great weekend!
