This week the grade 10s, 11 and 12s have been using scientific ‘language’ to gather and communicate information. The grade 10s have been using nuclear equations, the 11’s have been using chemical symbols and equations for friction down a slope and the 12 have been focussing on small-angle theory. These are all examples of using symbols and notation to communicate which strengthens their communication skills as they can communicate with each other using this common language.
