What a great fortnight we’ve had online, but we have now come to both the end of this era of learning and of our Unit of Inquiry on weather. Next week we are back face to face and with a new Unit of Inquiry on the agenda.
Please find details below of some of the content and skills we covered this week.

We started exploring onomatopoeia and the students rose to the challenge of coming up with their own comic strips that included lots of sound words.

Weather Reports
This week we heard a lot of weather reports. The calibre of these presentations would put some professional meteorologists to shame! Well done everyone for your hard work and eagerness to inform us about the weather all over the world.
Planning for a Cyclone
We heard the shock meteorological announcement that a cyclone was heading straight for us, so we urgently planned our very own cyclone action plans to keep our families safe!!!
How to dress for Oman
We also created a guide on how to dress appropriately for the different temperatures one might expect in Oman.
