Hello everyone,
We have been inspired by Rube Goldberg to create simple machines to complete simple tasks such as pop a balloon, open a door, ring a bell.
We have applied our knowledge of forces to change the speed of our machines, using the scientific method and have identified where these forces are at work in our machines. We have also been using all 3 of Newton’s 3 laws of motion to explain why and how forces work in our machine.
What a fun and entertaining end to our first term – watch this space for viewing our work in the science fair next term.
