Hi everyone,
This week we have been experimenting using the scientific method – asking questions, predicting, testing using independent and controlled variables and seeing how we can test fairly. We have been having such fun changing cone designs to see how we can affect the speed they fall.
In writing we have continued writing instructions for activities we chose ourselves, ranging from drawing tutorials, to technical guides, food and origami. In reading we have been exploring famous scientists using the Think Puzzle Explore technique.
In mathematics we have been practising using short and long column multiplication.
Message from PE department and Ms Willis: “Please remind students about these essential items: wear correct footwear, no inappropriate clothing such as jeans, bring a water bottle and a hat, for PE and outdoor play.
Message about photographs next week: Photographs on Tuesday: students must be dressed according to the school clothing policy.
