The grade 3 students have worked hard to learn how the skeleton gives us support and shape, protection and allows us to move. We studied the different joints in the human body and they help us move.
During mixed arts with Ms Cary, the class were able to experiment with mixing paint on one side of the paper. While the paint was wet it was folded. Once opened the paint had printed to make a symmetrical design.
In preparation for science fair the students learnt how to write up a science experiment. The question presented was ‘How does exercise affect our muscles?’ Student wrote a hypothesis before carrying out an experiment. We did a five minute work out taking note of how our muscles felt during exercise. From the experience the write up was completed with the results and the conclusion.
Colleagues gathered to say farewell to Ms Simpson. Presents and stories were shared before enjoying refreshments together. I wish you all an enjoyable weekend.
