Grade 11 have moved on this week to study ‘The Importance of being Earnest’ in English. We continue to think about the representation of marriage and gender here, which makes for a good contrast with ‘The Taming of the Shrew!’ Both plays are very entertaining and I look forward to seeing what the students make of the formidable Lady Bracknell (pictured below).
