Dear parents,
Many families and teachers in Sohar were unable to travel outside Oman during the summer break due to the airport closure and restrictions on movement. Because of this, the school will provide an opportunity during the Winter Break for families to visit loved ones and friends overseas. The Winter Break is from Friday December 18 until Sunday January 3. School resumes on Monday January 4.
ABIS will have Distance Learning (online learning) from Monday January 4 – Thursday January 14 for all classes. This will allow returning students to quarantine at home while still attending their lessons. Please note that currently the quarantine period is 9 days (day 8 for test, day 9 for the test result and removal of wrist band).
We ask that students are ready to return to the school campus for face to face learning on Sunday January 17. For those who are currently attending classes online, Distance Learning will continue as normal.
