Dear Families,
I’m so pleased to be writing to you from ABIS campus this week! I arrived in Sohar and completed my quarantine just in time for the first day back from Autumn break. It’s been fantastic to finally see the school building and grounds in person, and they are very impressive. We are so lucky to have such beautiful open spaces, especially as we prepare to welcome some of our students back to school face to face soon. It’s also wonderful to see teachers’ faces, or at least their eyes above their masks!
As you know, we are working hard this week to plan for the guidelines set by the government of Oman, and our learning plan has been submitted for approval. I hope that the next time I write a Broadcaster post, it will be to inform you of our new procedures. We have quality learning plans in place that accommodate both online and in person learning for all of our students.
We have a long weekend coming up, I hope everyone enjoyed the day off in honour of The Prophet Mohammed’s birthday.
