Dear parents,
I am delighted to announce that we have received confirmation ABIS was successful in obtaining authorisation for the IB MYP. This is excellent news, and we are now one of only two schools in Oman to have 3 IB programmes: PYP, MYP, DP. That ABIS has achieved so much is testament to the strength and dedication of its community. We are tremendously proud of ABIS!
Please do congratulate the secondary team when you meet them. Our thanks as well to the school board for their continued support in ensuring that we become a world class international school.
You would have heard that the Supreme Committee has announced that all schools will open on November 1. We expect further details next week from the Ministry of Education and will advise the school community accordingly. We have comprehensive plans in place for the safety and wellbeing of students when they return to school, which can be found here.
