We’ve spent the first lessons of Grades 9 and 10 MYP Music getting used to the key concepts that underpin the MYP curriculum. After rediscovering (after our long summer break!) what they were, we thought about how they could be expressed as pictures. In the next class students will present why they’ve chosen that particular picture and how it exemplifies that particular key concept.
We’ll then apply these concepts to a real life contemporary piece of music. Depending on our discussion, we will consider co-planning our first unit of inquiry together!
