Hi everyone! My name is Ty Lougher (pronounced “Tie Locker,” although my students and parents call me “prof”) and I’m the new Secondary French teacher. I currently live in Dubai and I’m very excited to join ABIS this year. I am originally from Rochester, NY… a city that’s closer to Canada than to New York City, which means it’s really, really cold in the winter and we get a LOT of snow.
I’ve been a French teacher for over 20 years both in the United States and in Kuwait and am excited to now teach in Oman. I’ve heard wonderful things about the country and can’t wait to learn all about it for myself.
