Despite fasting and the excitement of preparing for Eid, some students in Grade 3 have continued earnestly with their learning. AbdulMuhsen, Al Moataz and Ahmed would like to share these slides with you about how they celebrate Ramadan and Eid. ✨

After learning about Leonardo DaVinci last week we had some fun by imagining what Mona Lisa might be about to say. Stepping into someone else’s shoes (thinking like someone else) takes some practice.

We have been practising reading poems in rhythm and with expression. We were introduced to shape or concrete poems which take the shape of the subject of the poem. We read the airplane and clock poems. Then Fatma B felt inspired to write one with her brother. Fittingly, after recently learning about different types of lines they have written about parallel lines. I wish I could share Fatma’s beautiful reading of these poems too.

Bravo Fatma and your brother for writing this clever poem! ???
