Over the past few weeks we have been enjoying reading the classic children’s story ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ by Roald Dahl.
Reading quality stories is a great way to develop our language skills and writing. As we read about the marvellous inventions in Mr Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, many of us designed our own Chocolate Bar.

We explored perspective by imagining what some of the character’s might say at the end.

Posing relevant questions is an important skill to develop as learners. We imagined we were going to interview Roald Dahl, and wrote the questions we would like to ask him.

These are some of our favourite scenes from ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.’

Lastly, some students did an extension Art activity where they created these delightful sculptures from Aluminium Foil.
