With the holidays upon us, we want to wish you all a safe and happy holiday.

If you are looking to help out your child with their learning, why not play a board or card game with your child. It can teach them about teamwork, taking turns, patience, and how to win and lose gracefully. Board games can actually benefit kids’ brains and language development. A personal favourite is snakes and ladders as it helps with addition, subtraction, number ID and subitisation. However this week, we have been trying out different games at school, including Math games, UNO, puzzles and scrabble junior.

Also, our little kids are growing up and they are expressing more independence. If time allows, encourage them to dress themselves. It supports their self confidence and independence. It particularly helps when changing after swimming.
