Today is the last day for the secondary Passion Projects. Students have had the last 5-6 weeks to work on projects of their own choosing. Opportunities such as this provide students with agency over their learning. Agency in the IB means voice, choice and ownership. We are pleased with the enthusiasm that students have brought to their projects.

Progress reports are provided today. Please take some time to review the successes and challenges with your child. These represent only a snapshot but will serve as a starting point for 3 way conferences which will be held on Wednesday evening and Thursday after school for secondary families (Nov 20 and 21). Please look for the email from Mr Atul for your opportunity to select appointment slots with some of your child’s teachers.

The school store is reopening. On Wednesdays, the community council will be selling snacks. Children are encouraged to bring small pocket money to participate… funds help support community council initiative and local charities. This year, they hope to encourage homemade foods from the many countries and cultures represented by our students. If you are willing to contribute once, or weekly, please contact Karen Matthews or any other member of community council.
