From learning to community events, we have had an extremely busy week in KG3.

Mother Tongue Monday was a great success. Children relish the opportunity to read and play games in their language. Continuing to build vocabulary in a child’s mother tongue is very important. It helps them correlate with English words.

In our learning, the students have read and sung about Odd Todd and Even Steven, inquiring into what makes numbers odd and even. We have discovered that an even number is a number can be divided into two equal groups. An odd number is a number that cannot be divided into two equal groups. Even numbers end in 2, 4, 6, 8 and 0 regardless of how many digits they have and odd numbers end in 1, 3, 5, 7, 9. Please help us practice by looking at numbers on our house or car number plates.
