As the DP exams come to an end tomorrow and the Grade 10s head to India, the Grades 7, 8, 9 and 11 will sit for their end of the year assessments next week.
These assessments take place for three reasons:
a. to provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate important knowledge and skills that they have been working to develop in different subject groups.
b. to develop the important habit of revision
c. to provide students with the experience of taking a series of subject‐specific examinations under strict examination conditions to prepare them for public examinations such as the IB Diploma, IGCSE, SAT, DELF or other external examinations.
