This week the Grade 6s started their MYP Science Unit: states of matter. We worked in the class building our understanding of the particle model. We went into the lab to apply our knowledge and get hands on with an experiment.
We also started our geometry unit. Students shared the form and function of a protractor.
We started by reviewing how to identify angles, then how to draw them. Next we are working on how to use a protractor to measure different angles. Finally we will work on using a protractor to draw angles of specific measures.
