Attempting to answer knowledge questions, which are questions about how we gain knowledge, is what TOK is all about. These are not simple questions and it was great to see the G11s tackling them this week with their “practice TOK presentations”.

An example knowledge questions might be: How do we ensure the accuracy of knowledge? or To what extent can we reason our ability to not trust certain public knowledge?

Students paired up with a partner (see photos) to collaboratively bring together a thoughtful and in-depth exploration of their knowledge questions. This practice will be very useful when they go to create their much longer and more in-depth final TOK presentations during their 12th grade year.

The G11 class made an excellent effort at bringing TOK to life this week and have a solid foundation to build from as they move forward in the course. Nice work G11s!
