A week ago, grade fours and fives worked in small groups on an engineering STEAM project. Their objective was to produce a boat that could withstand holding ten Omani coins. Students planned, created, and modified as a team using limited resources ( 6 by 6 inch aluminum square, string, eight inches of tape, and small sheet of wax paper). It was great to see problem solving and teamwork taking place.
