We worked hard to finish our Extreme Weather posters this week ready for sharing at Assembly on Thursday. We continued researching an extreme weather type and learned to use the Index to find information quickly in non fiction books. Understanding some of the information was sometimes challenging and made us realise we must keep working on our reading skills.
As we tried to rephrase information for our posters we learned about he importance of acknowledging the sources where we found our information. We photographed our sources ready for creating a visual Bibliography.
Working with a buddy we needed to do a lot of communicating to agree on the design and layout for our poster.
It was fun dressing up and performing at Assembly today. With a little practise we felt ready to share some information using the microphone. Throwing the snowballs was definitely our favourite part!
