It has been a busy week of re-settling in to school. We are glad to know that our students have enjoyed their holidays – there were certainly lots of sharing stories that took place. We spent some of our time reflecting on our accomplishments, as well as challenges during the first half of the year.
This week, we had to say farewell to Josh, who joined ABIS for one semester on a special exchange program. We have greatly enjoyed having Josh and we wish him all the best for the future!
Teachers finished the week with a whole-school collaboration session with the aim of tapping in each other’s expertise to enhance our curriculum.
Next week, our ASAs will begin. Confirmation for each ASA registration should have gone to the parent email.
Please also note that on Monday, 14th of January, 6:30 pm, we will be holding our Parent Meeting on Oman Week. During each grade level presentation, you will find out about the activities and logistics of the trip. It is also the best time to clarify any questions that you may have about Oman Week. For parents new to ABIS, February 10th to 14th is our ‘week without walls’ wherein we take learning outside the confines of the school campus as a way to discover the richness and beauty of our host country.
