The Grade 6s were diligent when working with Mr. Plasbin to help create the plastic art installation. They got a lot of work done towards the school’s project. Students from K3 to Grade 12 all had a part in the creation of the plastic palm tree! Our class collection 255 water bottles this week as part of the water bottle recycling challenge.
Flying animal research
The Grade 6s moved ahead with the research process by collecting facts, sorting them, ordering them and turning them into organized paragraphs. Students should now have completed 3 of the 5 paragraphs. Some student have written all 5 paragraphs, some need to work on this over the weekend.
They share their researched facts with a partner, talking about each subtopic as a way of determining if they needed to collect more facts, or if they already had enough.
