Reading our writing to a buddy helps us with editing our work. We get good ideas from each other to try out in our writing and can suggest ways our buddy can improve their writing.
Viewing the performance ‘Secrets’ was a treat on Tuesday. We had posed some wonderings before the performance and were pleased to find out the answers. In watching the play we gained some good ideas for our future performances. We decided the 2 actors must have been busy changing costumes for the 5 different characters they portrayed.
Our class are conducting a science experiment about mould because some of us were unsure what mould was. We chose a few food samples and put them in sealed bags to see how long each one takes to grow mould. We wrote a hypothesis about what we think will happen.
After 4 days there is no sign of mould but the strawberry is changing fast. Perhaps mould will grow over the weekend.
