Grade 5KL started to investigate homophones this week. These are English words which sound the same but are spelt differently and mean different things. We started with the common errors of there/their/they’re and to/too/two then, as we found or noticed other ones, we wrote them on our homophone wall with Humphrey the Homophone Hunter.
We also played a guessing game. I am what you did with a book AND a colour. The answer is read/red.
