Mr Barakat and Ms Maryam taught us about Qaranqasho which is celebrated by many children in Oman.
We learned the song that children sing as they visit someone’s house for Qaranqasho and then Mr Barakat led us to K3 and G1 where we were able to give and receive a bag of treats for Qaranqasho.
We learned that most people celebrate this before Ramadan.
Grade 6 invited us to participate in short workshops as part of their exhibition. Each one had a message about dealing with conflict. They had prepared interesting activities for us to do.
