This week we had a group of readers perform the play ‘Chicken Licken’ to two different audiences. They worked hard to show characterization of the character they were portraying and made an effort to stay in role. The young ECC audience enjoyed watching them.
With thanks to the support of a few parents and Ms Denise we showed off our knowledge of countries around the world with an International Quiz with our Grade 5 buddies. Competition was fast and fierce but it was also a lot of fun.
We have been learning to draw self-portraits this week. Looking closely at the shape and detail of our facial features in a mirror and then drawing what we saw was quite challenging, but we showed perseverance and after completing two self-portraits (one on a whiteboard and one in crayon) we could see progress.
Tuesday’s are one of our favorite days because we love swimming.
