Many children came dressed in the colors of their home countries and national dresses in celebration of international day. They got together in the Mazoon building for a parade. In class, the children have been learning about the way we trade and use money for the unit of inquiry. This week they had an enjoyable time bartering (exchanging) things they brought from home with their classmates. In math they continued to work on addition and subtraction. They will work on this next week as well and begin division and multiplication. In writing the children are continuing to work on organizing their writing into paragraphs.
