This week we read a news article about a group of people who used a digger to break into a supermarket in Ireland during a recent blizzard. We then chose the viewpoint of one of the looters, the customers of the supermarket or the supermarket owner and considered their thoughts, opinions and concerns. It was good way to ‘step inside someone else’s shoes’ and explore their viewpoint.
Reading a few articles is helping us as we try to write our own newspaper articles.
We really enjoyed researching an animal of our choice for Homework this week. As we listened to each other sharing our findings we learned about a great variety of animals. This also raised quite a few wondering for many of us.
