This week Grade 8 began by looking a how a depth could be calculated by recording the time from when an object is dropped until it hits the ground. See here actthree
This led to questions about gravity. They started designing tasks where they could calculate the acceleration due to gravity. They also were considering the effects other variables would have on their experiments, like air resistance.
