Although it was a stormy start of the week, the year ended with a great outdoor performance of the ABIS band led by Mr. Griebenow. The International Breakfast organized by the Student Council followed the band performance. I was a bit apprehensive whether any learning could take place after students (and adults) loaded themselves up with sugar and all the goodie treats from the breakfast spread. This feeling of apprehension immediately vanished when I saw that it was business as usual in the secondary.

For example, the Grade 8 students were teaching Grade 2 students about earth’s rotation and its effect on weather and climate.

Teachers prepared year-end assessments for students. In this photo, you can see Mr Davis giving his progress test in a festive mood.

I wish everyone a nice holiday, and see you all on the 7th of January.
