We have been inquiring into the temperature and weather conditions around the world this week. Each student is recording the temperature and weather in a different city in the world. We have learned to read and understand some of the units and symbols used in weather forecasts.

We have found some places that are experiencing similar to weather to Sohar at the moment and other places where it is warmer or considerably colder. We have sorted the highest and lowest temperatures in cities from warmest to coldest. Ordering the temperatures that were below zero required some extra thought. There has been a lot of math learning this week using the temperature data we have gathered.

As we learn more, we keep thinking of more questions to investigate.

Some of our boys are very keen Library leaders who help to keep the library organized at lunchtime sometimes and have a lot of fun in the process.

We are still enjoying making and giving appreciation cards to people.
