This week we worked on continuing number patterns and using rules to predict what will happen if. Students started using multiple strategies and we began to branch into multiplication. We will continue to consolidate how to make and predict number patterns next week. We read a fun big book called “The Underground Dance” and the story “Where Going on a Bear Hunt” and made a class poem of the sounds we make going to school. In writing, we also worked on our how to procedure writing. In UOI, we looked closely at rock samples and identified the characteristics that make up each type of rock.
