In Grade 2 this week we have been using the base 10 equipment to explore place value. We also used this to solve problems to do with ‘dozens’.
We found some super books in the Book Swap. Some looked like new!
We are feeling proud of our writing that was inspired by last week’s Book Week and have worked hard to publish this. It is nearly finished and will be on display soon.
Two of our reading groups combined to practise and perform a play. We loved having Mr Ferguson and his Grade 1 class come to watch. To enhance the performance we thought of some great props for our characters and tried our best to stay in role.
Hannah bravely performed a very entertaining hula hoop routine at the Primary Talent show that enthralled the audience. What a star!
