We are quickly approaching the end of the grade 1. As we wind down the year we have been creating various art projects focusing on the skill of overlapping and pattern. In Math, we are working on two digit subtraction problems. The key is to not only use the strategies we have learned, but to think and choose which strategy works best for each problem. The goal is to be flexible thinkers in math. In writing, we are choosing to write from whatever genre we have practiced in the year. One more week to go and it’s summer time!
