Our week began with a visit from the Wadi Wranglers from Muscat. They are a couple who help to rescue stray dogs that need help. It was amazing to see the transformations of the dogs they care for from the pictures taken soon after being rescued and then to see the gentle, healthy and well behaved dogs they have become. Some of us would have liked to have taken one home!

We have been busy interviewing various people about their work. We practised interviewing Ms Maryam and she told us what she enjoys about her work. And we worked in groups to interview some of the ABIS Staff. We learned and practised videoing on our iPads and it turned out to be more challenging than we expected.

We interviewed our parents for Homework and have noticed that many people have said similar ideas for what they do that makes their work successful. Sarah kindly allowed us to interview her about the work that stay at home Mums do.

Our kind teacher assistants gave us sweets to celebrate the feast of Qaranqashoh, which is similar to Halloween which many of us know about. What a lovely way to learn about this feast! It took lots of self-control not to eat any until after school!
