Students this week were excited to start our new unit on journeys. We read the story of Phinaes Frog and his journey around the world in 80 days. The students enjoyed looking at different places around the world, making postcards of places they would like to travel, and following Phineas’s journey around the world. In writing we have been writing various opinion pieces. We wrote which pet should I get and wether something was a duck or a rabbit. In math, we began our unit on time. We had our book clubs with grade 2. Finally, we watched the history of science show.
