In IB Visual Arts students spend a lot of time experimenting with different media in order to find their areas of strength. Our first year student is exploring the theme of phobias and is looking at contemporary artists such as Samuel Salcedo and Gerard Quenum and has begun to make multiples in order to give emphasis to her message. She is currently learning how to make a mold for her idea. The artwork is really moving forward and she developing her ideas to articulate this complex theme in a visual way.
