It was great to witness grade 7 students in Humanities this week as they created ‘learning stalls’ for their ancient civilizations Museum project. Some great interactive learning was taking place with some super projects. It’s a good example of how inquiry, activity, concepts, skills and factual knowledge can be brought together in a fun way (pics elsewhere in the newsletter).
The community visit to a local school on Wednesday was a great success. Students really enjoyed participating with local students and building a relationship, and we intend to continue this work in coming months. Important to build bridges with other schools beyond our walls.
Obviously the big event next week is International Evening, which should be fantastic as long as the rain stays away. We hope to see you there! It’s going to the biggest ABIS event yet. Tickets available on Sunday.
Also, we hope to see you on Tuesday for the last house picnic of the year.
