This week we started our life cycles by looking at the different stages of life for ants, chickens, frogs and seas turtles. We worked on our presentation skills focusing on our voice and pace and giving feedback to one another. We read nonfiction texts and used Venn diagrams to see how writers write compare and contrast. In Math, we continued solving open ended questions such as if Santa had 84 cookies some were chocolate chip, some were oatmeal raisin, and some were sugar how many of each cookie might Santa have. One more week to go and it’s winter break 🙂
