Some of our work this week has involved working with a buddy within our class but also our younger Bumblebee and Butterfly buddies. We are learning to consider the perspective of others and ways to support a buddy. Guiding a younger buddy around the sensory walk was great fun but keeping the younger buddy on track was quite a challenge!
We have received some interesting weather data from all over the globe thanks to fabulous support from our families and are studying these as part of our Weather Unit of Inquiry. We are investigating why the weather is different in other parts of the world. We have so many questions that we are trying to find the answers to. We are learning about how meteorologists forecast the weather and have a weather station in our class that we are learning to use. We loved seeing a photo of Luca in the snow in Toronto. After looking at the photo we imagined what he could have been thinking when the photo was taken.
We were treated to a sneak preview of the Musical being performed on Wednesday and Thursday next week. We were captivated by the singing and dancing. What talented kids we have at ABIS!
