We spent this week inquiring things we want to know and learning about the different ways we can learn new things. The students wanted to learn about pumice and why it floats, so we decided to test it. We also learned why rocks are different colors, and learned about minerals. We still have many unanswered questions to discover. In Math we started learning that addition and subtraction can be solved by partitioning numbers to go up or back to 10. We also wrote, read, and had some new phonics puzzles to play with.
