We are continuing our learning about Place Value and have been learning to expand numbers.
We enjoyed applying our knowledge to represent how many people were on the Titanic, how many people survived and how many were lost. This sparked some curiosity about the Titanic and many of us would like to learn more about it.
We interviewed buddies in the other Grade 2 class about eachother’s culture and are learning to display the information on Venn Diagrams.
We had a happy time reading to our Butterfly and Bumblebee buddies. They thought we were clever readers.
