As you all know this was book week. Grade 1 took part in many activities. We were read to by several different teachers, but when Mr. Tomalin told his story he left out the ending. Our class stepped up and we each made our own unique endings to his story. Later in the week, we got to read and make bookmarks with our fourth grade buddies. We also started making a big random class book by taking nouns, adjectives and verbs from cups and forming them into silly sentences. Today we decorated our door with a Where The Wild Things Are theme. We made the monsters by watching a how to video and following the steps. I really enjoyed the costumes from the parade and have to say thank you to my assistant for making my costume. We also fit math, UOI and some play into our week. It was a busy week, but a fun one.
