This week we worked hard on building our reading stamina for read to self and read to a buddy. Our goal for grade 1 is 20 minutes of uninterrupted reading time. We also introduced our “author’s chair” where students got a chance to share their stories. In math we learned about putting numbers in groups of 10. We continued working on relationships and for the first time I saw boys playing with girls by choice.
